When scanning a new drive, scanner constantly scans until the drive is fully scanned, this could be several days. Then, it mostly sits idle for the 30/60/90 days until the scan expires. Then several more days of constant scanning.
A great feature would be to calculate how many sectors per day/hour need to be scanned in order to make it back around to the oldest scanned sector before it expires, and pace the scanner in order to meet that schedule.
If the scanner falls behind, due to being offline or throttled, it can increase the blocks/day dynamically to make it back to the oldest block in time.
Possible easy implementation : In the "mark all sectors as good" menu, have an option to mark them as good, but not all with the same dates.
