External USB-C Samsung T7 Shield External Portable SSD Not Reporting SMART in StableBit Scanner

Hi, I have browsed various threads regarding SMART data not being reported and tried various fixes to no avail. I'm hoping someone from StableBit might be able to help out.

System: Windows 11 Pro

Problem:

Samsung T7 Shield Portable SSD connected via USB-C to a Minisforum NPB5.

StableBit Scanner says "The on-disk S.M.A.R.T. check is not accessible"

I have tried the stable version of StableBit Scanner v2.6.4.3981 and also I am currently running the beta of StableBit Scanner v2.6.5.3998

I tried the NoWMI and Unsafe DirectIO options & exit StableBit Scanner & stop/start the StableBit Scanner service in Services then relaunch StableBit Scanner to retest.

I notice in StableBit Scanner that the Samsung T7 shows up as "Samsung PSSD T7 Shield SCSI Disk Device" I wonder if somehow it is being misidentified as a SCSI drive?

CrystalDiskInfo displays the S.M.A.R.T. data for the Samsung T7 Shield perfectly fine.
