Ian Spencer got a reaction from Antoineki in G Suite and unlimited Google drive
My understanding to get unlimited account for Google drive option is only available to G Suite which requires a minimum of 5 paid accounts at $50 a year. You then have an option of $10 per month for unlimited drive space.

Given this I'm happy to supply a domain if I can get 4 or 5 other people to share expense of a 5 account would 30+ TB and grow over time
be reasonable use or does Google truely supply unlimited storage? Is Google drive very reliable? Can you have more than one drive per email account? Are there any other people here interested in joining up to share costs?

Anyone see problems with this plan?

Are there any other affordable unlimited or huge storage services that are reliable as clearly I ACD is not interested in this party party storage applications.

How safe would my data be, I want to put all my Plex video on plus data backup. Most storage would be for Plex.

    Thanks

Why would Google close an account sold on eBay, oh did a Google search that's risky buying University and business accounts that the organisation and Google can shut down. I hope no one here did that as you will be on borrowed time.

    For drivepool want more storage.

I have in my Windows 8.1 Windows Media Sever / Plex

    1 x SSD
    1 x Blu-ray
    4 x 6TB WD Red
    3 x 8TB Seagate Archive
    1 x 3 TB Hitachi
    http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z77%20Extreme6/
    1 x Asmedia 1061 Controler Card
    3 x Tuner Cards

I need more storage SATA drives. I have spare random ones and plan  to buy some more WD Reds

What is good for external that will work reliably With DrivePool and Scanner.
I have had no luck with Scanner and External USB and getting any SMART and even tried Advanced settings in Scanner but had computer lock up. Cheap temporary no name USB bay keeps disconnecting every few weeks and I want it gone.
    Is eSata an option?

If suggesting other technology I will need hand holding as I don't understand SAS etc and don't have an enterprise budget but could spend up to AUD $500 or maybe more if robust.

    I am in Australia

This is all I could easily find that takes greater than 4 TB hard drives readily available.

This is the only Case that seemed to have eSata I could easily find but some say power supply unreliable

I assume there would also be reliable enterprise second hand equipment based on some of the builds I see here on the forums.

    Thanks

Fredrick, they are a very talented and smart group of programmers the problem seems that in summary that Amazon drive are isolated from the excellent Amazon S3 team and they keep Channing the rules. I think their idea of unlimited is different to ours. I don't believe the concept was well thought out and the team is not up to the task at Amazon drive. All other Amazon services I have touched are well recorded and professional. That's not what I see with the drive term. Find give friends and share a Google apps account and the unlimited data add-on. That's what I would do if I had 5 people who I knew who trusted me and would use the service. As true unlimited broadband is not common in Australia at high speeds is only stuff most people could dream of even if they had unlimited storage. I assume Google apps drive unlimited is reliable.
