  1. Okay, in the wiki it sounded to me that there would be two entries, is this a misunderstanding?

    • CoveFs_WaitForVolumesOnMount (Default: "True") - Some volumes arrive late in the boot process so DrivePool will wait for all the volumes to arrive before allowing the pool drive to mount. The delay is adaptive, so it will be different for each system. Turning this off might shorten boot times, but is not recommended because it could expose a partially populated pool drive to system services that start right after booting.
    • CoveFs_WaitForVolumesOnMountMs (Default: "10000") - How long to wait for all the volumes to arrive in MS.
  2. After a few tests, my conclusion is unfortunately negative. In most cases, at least 1 hard disk has to be measured and then the entire pool has to be checked again.

Only very rarely was this not necessary, although I stopped both services manually.

I will have another look if unmounting the hard disks solves the problem, so far I could not notice any difference.

I would still like to see a software solution for this problem.

  3. Hi,
I use DrivePool to connect some external drives to a pool.
This works great, but unfortunately I have an issue with DrivePool that has been bothering me for a long time.

I don't always have the drives turned on, so it happens that when I turn them on
DrivePool measures (and checks) the pool almost every time I turn on the drives.
From my naive point of view, this is unnecessary, as I only use the drives in conjunction with DrivePool, and I'm looking for another solution, as I find the current procedure unnecessary.

Is there anything that can be done?

    Many greetings

  4. So to start I have duplication disabled.

But I started my computer had not all drives connected to the pool, so I connected them and suddenly Drive Pool started to balance the drive and more important started duplicating the files.

I aborted the process now Drive Pool says duplication is inconsistent.

So how can I get rid of the duplicated files?

    I cannot find them.

    Best regards.

  5. Yes, but somehow via Windows own tools it did not work.

btw I'm testing PoolDrive right now, and your software is amazing, hasslefree and does exactly what I need. Better than any other competitor.

    I'll buy it for sure.

The "System Volume Information" folder is the bane of IT.

To delete it, you need to take ownership of the folder, and change the security permissions on it.

But I'm glad to hear that you were able to find a tool that worked.

  6. Hello,

    I've quite an issue here.

I installed DrivePool but I had some issues with the drive, so I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but now I had multiple Poolpart files on the drive.

So I tried do delete it, did not work, then I used the tool unlocker moved it into the recycle bin the bad thing is, the files are stuck there. I cannot delete or restore them.

I renamed one file didn't work either.

Even after I formatted the drive the files are still there.

What shall I do please help me.
