And yes, mounting the drives lets you get around Windows limitation of available drive letters, and to keep the drives accessible.  There really isn't a limit, but once you hit Z:\, windows just stops assigning drive letters, and this makes the additional drives much harder to access. 

 

Don't forget about the lonely "A" & "B". Poor little drive letters

Yes you can change the name to whatever you want just like you always have in windows. Simplest way is just right click on the drive in file explorer/my computer, select properties and just rename it.

You should be able to move (drag/drop) them into the pool part folder and all will be well.

 

I'm sure Chris will chime in. But it's a simple n quick process.
