  1. Hi Drashna, unfortunately that wasn´t the reason. I did this on purpose to have more control during the test. If i change it back to "Balance immediately" It will stay on the SSD as long i don´t click on Re-measure. After that the data is balaced of to the archve disks. Marcus
  2. Hi Drashna, just testet it in a Windows 7 Vm with the stable version of Drivepool. Same behavior for me. Marcus
  3. Sorry for some german, could´t find any way to change the GUI to english. If the SSD Optimizer is disabled everthing is OK. If i enable the plugin the files are moved to the archive Disks. Now the strange part: If i disable the SSD Optimizer again the files stay on the archive disks. Marcus
  4. Hi Drashna, thanks for your reply and the help. After enabling the SSD Optimizer, all the files are balanced of to the archive disk and the File Placement Rule is ignored. running the latest Beta on a Win10 VM for testing. What could be my mistake? In the File Placement Rule is selected that the data should be under any circumstances on another disk,,,
  5. Hi there, just bought the bundle and toying around with the setup of drivepool. Just a summary what i want to achieve: Homeserver for Files and some Hyper-V Guests: Two or more Archive Disks Two SSDs for SSD Optimizer and the HV Guests Pool\VMs (unduplicated / should always be on the SSDs) Pool\Documents(duplicated / should on Archive Disk) Pool\random:files (unduplicated / should on Archive Disk, as soon the SSD runs out of free Space) Pool\Movies_Archive (unduplicated / should on Archive Disk, as soon as the balancer kicks in.) First of all. Is this setup possible? If yes, how? The release notes of the SSD Optimizer says that it can´t be used with the Ordered File Placement. Any thoughts or hints on this? Marcus
