I closed Drive pool from within the program by clicking on the x in the upper right corner. I then shut down my Norco box. Replaced the fans, again. Then started everything up again. The pool originally said that I was missing drives but then it found them. The yellow status bar said no activity. Checking duplication did not appear to do anything. On a whim I ran services and restarted the pool. The yellow bar has been duplicating ever since.

It appears, to answer my own question, that I need to run services.msc in win 7 and restart the pool service. Would appreciate any input that might shed some light on why this needs to be done. Thanks

I have pool duplication and real time checked. I needed to shut the pool down for a few moments. When it came back up the boxes were checked but the duplication did not start. How or can I force it to begin? Thanks
