  1. Server is an HP Microserver with icy dock 5.25 drive bay that has a 2.5 SSD drive for the OS and the laptop drive is for backup. The other four 3.5 drives are for data.
  2. I am using a SAMSUNG Spinpoint M8 ST1000LM024 1TB 5400 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 2.5" Internal Notebook Hard Drive as a server backup drive under WHS2011 and I get the SMART warning that the drive "Recalibration Retries" has occured. Since this is the second drive that I have received this warning on (I returned the first drive for replacement when the error counts got to 6). I am wondering if this just has something to do with Scanner and this model hard drive? I am not sure I want to send another drive back to Newegg for the same reason and wait another 10 days and see the same problem with a new drive. Is anyone else seeing this issue?
