Windows Server Essentials 2012R2 and i am currently using version StableBit.DrivePool_2.2.0.619_x64_BETA, i was using the latest release but wasnt able to get it to work so i tried a couple of more recent betas

I have been using drivepool since its was still at beta stage but for a year or 2 i have been having issues with it. I have it duplicating my client backups and for that it works however when it comes to cleaning up it has issues. I mark specific backups to be deleted due to backup errors but when i run the cleanup task they do not delete. This happen to me once when i upgraded to the latest version at the time but i assumed it was something with my OS so at the time i reinstalled everything but encountered the same issue. At the time i reverted back to a beta version and suddenly the backups started deleting again. At this point im not sure which version i was using and didnt really feel like starting from scratch again, anyone else been having this issue and/or has a solution? thanks

I have 2 hard drives for storage and have them duplicating the files on them. 1 of them has 22 bas sectors while the other drive is healthy. I saw that the drivepool has a scanner plugin that when detected it will evacuate the files from the bad hard drvie to others. My question is i have only 2 hard drives so it cant really evacuate it to another hard drive so its continues on the bad hard drive however does drivepool neglect those bad sectors when reading/writing new info or stops using that hard drive? I was hoping someone could clear how this function works, i feel that the description of it is a bit vague Also what would you recommend to do on this hard drive? can this be fixed some how? they are 2 samsung hd204ui and samsung doesnt support them no more since i guess seagate took over their hard drives?

no, unfortunetely my server does not have a tmp, its just an old ex485 however is there any particular order i need to this? for example do i need to set that setting before or after i do activate bitlocker? im just afraid of losing data

Good afternoon, I have bitlocker on my laptops and was thinking of activating it on my server however since it has drivepool i am not really sure what steps to perford first to activate it, for example if i need to change setttings first it drivepool or start with the encryption itself. My current operating system is windows server 2012 r2 essentials. Any help would be appreciated
