in case it helps, most of the drives are in a mediasonic probox 8 bay enclosure, connected via eSata.

New install on win 8.1. I keep getting this error: Could not load type "System.Collections.Generic.|Emunerarle "1" from assembly "mscorlib. Version=4.0.0.0. Culture=neutral. PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089". this is retyped from a printed screenshot, might be some typo's. I have a license key, but can't even get to the point of entering it. monte

worked swimmingly. had problems getting windows to see the drives in the 8 drive enclosure, but got that sorted. installed drivepool and the pool came up quickly. thanks all

I'm going to be upgrading from Win7 to Win8.1 and I'm looking for advice on how to handle my existing pool. Non of the pool parts are on any system disk, they are all on a set of disks in a separate sata enclosure. I guess the simplest way to do it is to deactivate DrivePool, upgrade windows, reinstall DrivePool and hope it recognizes the existing pool as I add the external disks to the pool. Monte
