Because I had several unused SSD a while back I set them up as cache drives. But like the title suggest I am wondering if there is any official or anecdotal benefit from using more than one SSD or if you'll do just as well to use a single SSD. Also these are traditional 2.5" SATA drives and not NVMe or any of the m.2 varieties.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Update: I _think_ I may have unintentionally stumbled upon a scenario that suggests multiple SSD is a good thing. I'm removing several spinning drives and that process appears to be making much more distributed use of multiple SSD than any of my normal usage.
Any benefit from using multiple SSD for caching?
