I tend to add drives to the pool, then remove their drive letters. Drives themselves are only accessible as an invisible part of the pool. Are you saying I need to have them mounted somewhere when pools get larger? -

So, looking to create a drivepool volume with hundreds of 18TB disks in JBOD. Ignoring the cost, what are the limits of what I can make? My current planned system would have me at 15PB (not TB) of total available storage, can a pool be that large?
