DrivePool's footprint ranged from 2-5GB before I added all of the pool's drives to NOD32 anti virus's exclude list. At least I'm pretty sure that's what fixed it.
Attached is a poolmon screenshot showing a few pools owned by covefs.sys (I think...please correct me if I'm wrong) at or near the top of the list, totaling over 4GB.
I wish I didn't have to disable antivirus for those drives, so would love any information from the developers about the cause of this problem or any other way I can mitigate it.
Thanks,
James

FWIW, the two WD Blue disks in the pool are both "Healthy" in Scanner, as well as my SSD boot drive.
I had wondered if it could have been a false error from (in my case) not having many non-duplicated folders, or having too many empty folders, etc... Some corner case you can hit before the pool gets populated.

I copied some more data to the pool, ran "re-measure", and now Pool Organization is green.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Okay, I just ran it. Thanks for the help.

I purchased all three tools yesterday and set up a pool with two new WD blue 4TB HDDs.
I've copied around 140GB to the pool so far, a subset of which is configured as "x2", but mostly non-duplicated.
I have v2.2.0.762 BETA installed (the latest as of today) as well as the latest beta of Scanner.
Scanner reports no issues at all.
I've run "Re-measure...", "Re-balance", "Re-check duplication" multiple times, and rebooted a few times as well, but Pool Organization is still yellow and the tooltip says "Duplication inconsistent"
Very very high RAM usage in DrivePool

Nope it's NTFS.
"Bypass file system filters" is enabled. I'll try to reproduce the problem after disabling it.
That aside, i'm just curious - what does the large memory cost in DrivePool come from in these pathological cases with AV scanners?
