  1. I currently have a main directory called "Data" which contains subdirectories for all of my types of data, so there is one for "Movies" one for "TV Shows Etc" I want to move some of the sub directories into a "Media" Sub directory How will this effect duplication? Will Stablebit just know that its moved, or will it delete the duplication's and re-duplicate 10TB of Data since its all moved? Thanks!
  2. Thank you, I have taken the advice and upgraded to the the 734 build and all looks good so far
  3. I was moving around 10GB of files in my TV Shows folder, when I noticed my available free space increasing from 4TB to around 8TB I franticly searched for any files I had lost, only to see they were all there. I went into my Fileserver VM with Stablebit Drivepool and noticed it was "Balancing" and that my entire 4.7TB TV Show folder was not unduplicated leaving my files unprotected I re-mesured the pool to see if it would correct itself, but it just continued with balancing. I went into the duplication settings and found my TV Shows folder was now set to 1x instead of 2x like it should be Is there any way I can find out what happened? I now have over 500GB of data sitting on a drive marked for ONLY duplicated files (Since its a 3TB Seagate with almost 4 years power-on time) while I wait for it to duplicate 4TB of data for no reason If I lose that drive while its duplicating, Stablebit Drivepool will have completely failed me. Obviously I have backups, but it will be a total pain to restore all that data I have been running Drivepool for around 3 years now with no real problem, but if this because a frequent event then it will concern me Thanks
  4. I am using Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard, and I want to start Encrypting my drives. Is there a recommended method for doing this with DrivePool? Is Bitlocker my best bet?
  5. Well so far its been perfect, so I would call this resolved!
  6. Awesome, got it installed Is there anything I should do after installing, or should it just all be okay now?
  7. Since a while ago, I have been having problems with permissions on my DrivePool. I will go to delete a folder, and it will tell me I need administrative rights to do so. If I wait between a few hours, or a few days and try again it will work. Once I attempt to delete the folder, I also will no longer have access to even open it. This seems to also be temporary. It’s not all folders, only some. And age doesn't seem to play a part as it can be freshly added folders that have the problem. I can sometimes work around this by dragging the problem folder, into a new folder and deleting the new folder, but this is not 100% I am running Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard x64, and the only software installed is Stablebit Drivepool, Stablebit Scanner, HD Tune Pro (Never running), and CrashPlan+ This appears to have nothing to do with CrashPlan as it happens on folders that are not monitored, and stopping the CrashPlan service doesn’t change anything. Does anyone have any ideas?
