State of symlink support

greywun

Question

I am evaluating drivepool. I've run across an issue where a linux docker container -- using a drivepool disk as a store -- CANNOT create and query a file symlink. I've read elsewhere that there is supposed to be support for this, but it's not working for me.

I was using the drivepool as a store for docker (yes, running in WSL2). A 'dir' from windows (using a normal NTFS drive) shows it as a 'junction (J)'. And the 'junction' tool shows "UNKNOWN MICROSOFT REPARSE POINT". I can dig into the tool ("certbot") (possibly)... but it works on a normal drive and not drivepool. It's a show-stopper.
