I've been using drivepool for years and its been fantastic on my server which has grown to 10 drives. Unfortunately one of them, a 12Tb Seagate Exos, is quite a bit noisier than the others and has been very noticeable when files are being read from it/written to it through WFH in the same room. I want to try and minimise its usage and treat it as a pure drive for duplication/backup and was wondering what the best approach to doing that is, or if it is possible at all? Is ordered file placement the best approach here, or even manual drag and dropping of files?

Hi all,
I've been using drivepool for years and its been fantastic on my server which has grown to 10 drives.
Cheers
Nick
