Dropbox / Clouddrive - Locking up on upload

Joerg Hermanns

Question

Hello everyone,

i am using the latest beta from CloudDrive together with 3x Dropbox Business on a 1 GBit line.

After a while and uploading fine, the system seems to lock / stall on uploads and i get errors like this:

CloudDrive.Service.exe    Warning    0    [IoManager:287] Thread abort performing Write I/O operation on provider.    2020-11-28 18:32:39Z    127219860777

CloudDrive.Service.exe    Warning    0    [IoManager:301] Thread abort performing Write I/O operation on provider.    2020-11-28 18:33:05Z    127475294359
CloudDrive.Service.exe    Warning    0    [IoManager:301] [W] Error writing range: Offset=2.751.373.312. Length=8.192. Der Thread wurde abgebrochen.    2020-11-28 18:33:05Z    127475362864

When i wait 30 minutes until each of the locks times out (i can see that in the technical details) the system starts again uploading for a while and stops again after some more time ...

History repeating ...

Any clue on how to handle this? The system is virtualized with KVM and is using the "Red Hat VirtIO Ethernet Adapter"

Operating system is Windows 2019 Essentials

Kind regards

Jörg
