Change of Motherboard

Question

Hi, I am about to to rehouse my DrivePool set up of system disc and 7 pooled discs, this move entails a new case and motherboard/CPU.

Would I be right in thinking that once the current system disc recognises the new hardware and boots without issue that I can then add my existing hard drives and the pool will re-appear?

Thanks for reading and any input would be appreciated.

Yes. Once Drivepool sees the data on the drives it will remount the pool. All of the pool information is stored on the drives themselves. If you're changing MoBos, don't forget to deactivate the license before you switch it so you can reactivate the license on the new hardware. Otherwise you'll have to submit a ticket to deactivate your license to make it usable on new hardware.
