Is there a way to enable support for SD cards and USB thumb drives?

I'm not bothered about the stability or unsuitableness of using these types of data storage devices with DrivePool as the data being held isn't critical. I've had a look in the config file and I can't see any obvious way to enable these types of removable devices - any ideas?

There is a minimum size requirement for the pool, and many of these cards will not meet this minimum (which is 8GB, IIRC).

Additionally, it has to show up as a USB hard drive, and not as a flash drive.
