Regular 51kb drives can be formatted with 4k blocks too. Any drawbacks to the 4k? And..... why should my next drive be native 4k....? But generally, yes, it will likely be faster, especially for larger drives. The same goes for NTFS Clusters (allocation unit size, when formatting). More data is sequential.
