TerryMundy
I have two identical NAS's connect via iSCSI and a separate programs will keep the two volumes in sync. Thus I need to turn off any and all duplication process. Is it possible? Thanks, Terry
Christopher (Drashna)
That depends on a number of factors. If you have duplication enabled, you can just disable it on the folders that it's enabled on. That would be the simple way. Alternatively, you can use the "dpcmd" "set-duplication-recursive" option to manually disable duplication on the whole pool.
TerryMundy
For some unknown reason the ability to Disable File protection didn't appear as an option until I stopped the StableBit service, ISCSI Initiator service, and ISCSI Target service then restart all services and relaunch StableBit. All is well now. It's simply measuring now. Perhaps I can use StableBit to perform the file protection instead of my third party app.
Christopher (Drashna)
That's .... really odd. That shouldn't be affected by any of that.
