Okay, I'm pretty sure this is a WHS issue, but still...

http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_2.x_Log_Collection

Don't enable Tracing, just upload the logs.

Also, could you find, "send to->compressed folder", the "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Server\Logs" folder?

Upload the logs to the same place as the Stablebit Logs (the link above has a Box.com upload widget), just reference this thread in the comments.

just tried a test folder on drive D(not pooled)

it moves ok

just drivepool Z appears to have the issue

just downloaded the latest beta as well

also just changed its permissions for users from read only to read/write with no issues using the non pooled folder

seems to be drivepool Z related

Okay, so the Pool drive is definitely the only one not showing up right. And the SYSTEM account has full access on the pool.

I'm assuming if you check the Pool's size in Explorer (My Computer), that it reports the capacity, and correctly?

Then, I'm not sure why it would be doing that. But could you get a memory dump of the dashboard?

http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_Dashboard_Freeze

And after doing that, could you completely uninstall DrivePool, and reinstall it?

http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_Q8964978

This will reset the settings, and require you to reactivate. However, your pooled data will remain intact, as will the duplication status.

After doing this, if the problem is still there, let us know.

Okay, this does some to be a very, very weird interaction between DrivePool and WHS.

Have you run the WSS Troubleshooter to "reset permissions on the pool" yet? If not, do that and see if it helps:

http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_Utilities

If it doesn't, could you head to http://stablebit.com/Contact and open a ticket there?

Also, could you enable tracing on the server, let it run for a while and then upload the logs?

http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_Log_Collection

And then get a dump of the Dashboard, DrivePool.Service.exe,

http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_Dashboard_Freeze

And of the full system, just in case?

Huh? I'm not sure what you mean by that?

And just FYI, the "reset permissions" option sets the NTFS permissions back to a "stock" or "newly formatted" state. These should ensure that there are NO issues with the permissions.

Also, aside from the OS, and the StableBit products, is anything else installed on the system?

Okay, that's what i thought, but I wanted to be sure.

Could you grab the information from above and upload it?

Just make sure you include the link to this thread there.
