When attempting to create a drive (10TB) in Google Drive Business account, computer freezes when the format process starts

Hello,

I am attempting to create a first time drive with an added G Drive Business account and want to test out 10TB for the Cloud Drive. After I setup the name and size, the process freezes my entire computer when the drive attempts to format in the StableBit app. This has been like this for about 3 hours now and I cannot even Ctrl+alt+dlte out of this. It seems as if my PC is frozen until I do a manual restart.

Did I do something wrong in the creation process? Or does this actually take this long to create a 10TB Cloud Drive?

Nevermind then. I managed to create the Cloud Drive on another machine. I'll have to figure out what was wrong with the other computer

My guess is that there is some issue with the drive that is being used as the cache, and the heavy IO load created during the format is causing issues. 

 

So you may want to check out that system.
