This add in cannot be installed on the server (Server 2012 Essentials R2)

I get this error message when I try to install drivepool on server 2012 essentials R2. Is there something I can do do fix this? I also tried the scanner program and that will install and shows up in my dashboard but I can't access it or open anything.

For DrivePool, you need the Windows 7 64 Bit version of DrivePool 2.x

Download that, and install on the server directly.

 

As for Scanner, I assume that you mean that it installs but the tab for Scanner doesn't show up at all?

If so, that is a known issue, but the most recent beta version should fix that:

If it shows up and you can't access it, then it sounds like it needs to be activated first (be it a purchased license or a trial version)
