Drop the number of threads to 10 each, increase the minimum download size to 10+ MB, and drop the prefetch time window to 30-60 seconds.

That should help.

really thanks, now its working at more than 300mbps+

btw, what about upload threshold ? do i need to leve it at 1,00mb ?

Thanks.

Awesome, glad to hear it!

For all of this:
https://stablebit.com/Support/CloudDrive/Manual?Section=I/O Performance

The reason that my suggestion worked is that it's less threads grabbing much more data. That means a bit more latency (since it's waiting on more data, at once), but there is less overhead (HTTP, REST or other API calls, basically).  And the Prefetch Time Window is the ... window for the trigger to occur. You want smaller here, so that it only prefetches on larger, sequential reads.

For the upload threshold, this stops uploads from happening if data is still being written.  This means that uploads should happen less often, but should get whole chunks of data, rather than uploading the same chunk (or parts of the same chunk) again and again, wasting API calls, basically.  So, this is an optimization, and should be fine at it's default.

I am not getting anywhere near those speeds with Google Drive. I have been having problems for a couple of months now where things have started lagging badly. I have tried everything to figure out the issue. I have changed the prefetch settings 100 different ways. I have everything set at the recommendations and I get maybe 2 threads and about 40 - 70 down. If I play a small movie it works pretty good. But if I play anything large 35GB or more it is crap. This was never a problem before. I am wondering if Google or ATT is throttling me. I don't know. I have a Gig connection from ATT. While I am trying to play one of those large movies I can do a speedtest from the server and get 700+ up and down. So I know it isn't a bandwidth specific issue. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? If I move the movie that is having problems locally, on the server, it plays fine. And this isn't just a plex issue because if I just copy a file from my clouddrive to a local drive I see the same threads/speeds in the GUI. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me crazy and my experience has gone off the rails.

Have a look here to run the Internet Health Test.

Check here for info on how to test BitTorrent traffic shaping, among other things.

You may want to test your ISP's line quality.  Download PingPlotter, install and run it against your server with 5 second pings for an hour or more.  Watch for spikes in round trip times, and dropped packets.  Don't have other large traffic going on your line at the same time.

I'd attempt to help with CloudDrive performance settings/tests, but I'm not the expert in that regard.

Thank you for the info but I am sure it is not a bandwidth issue. I can consistently get 40MB, not Mb, per second by downloading files directly from online servers. My speedtests are always high, greater than 700Mb. My pings directly to Google are 12ms, 25ms if I am actively downloading a large file. One of the bigger oddities is that I have been testing with the same movie, not exclusively, over the past couple of days. Why didn't that movie ever get cached? I would play the movie until I hit the buffering. I would pause the movie and change prefetch settings. Play the movie and hit the buffer again. Repeat several times. I would have thought that it would have gotten cached. I stopped and restarted the movie several times over two days also. Always the same result. And the same thing with a couple of other movies. I am going to take my computer into work in the next couple of days to test it there. It also has a Gig connection but from a different provider. So that would rule out the ISP, or target them. I do get those Google errors in Stablebit also, saying your connection to google is limited it has occurred 10 times or whatever that message says. As I am typing this I am pushing a file from Stablebit to Drive from the web interface so that I can try to pull it down directly, outside of Stablebit , to see what speeds I get. While it is being uploaded it keeps periodically saying you are offline, Drive error message. Then a few seconds later it goes away. I will report any findings from my other testing.

I am attaching log files back to the 19th. Looks like a log of errors.

My time window is already 30s. I changed the forward from 150 to 500. I changed the minimum download size from 100MB to 50MB. I am still seeing the same issue. Also I have a 1Gb Fiber connection to my house through AT&T. Today I brought my computer to work and put it on my Dedicated Business Class Fiber Circuit which is dual 1Gb connections. Same thing happens in both places. So that leads me to believe the issue is either between Stablebit and Google or something with my PC. The fact that everything else works great on my PC,including 4k gaming, makes be believe it is the former. Especially since I can run those same movies locally on that PC and it works great. It is driving me up the wall.
