riahc3
I have 4 HDD connected and I want to start using with all 4 since the main one is getting full. It is a mix of documents, files, photos, and movies. Documents and photos will be on all four while the rest will be on two. What is the correct and proper process for? vapedrib
0 Christopher (Drashna)
That's ... complicated. To be blunt, this depends heavily on the folder contents of these drives, your personal preferences, and how much time you have (eg, going through things). the simplest option is to just merge all of the disks, immediately. However, if the drives have similar (or the same) folder layouts, this will merge them together and may make managing them a pain (as you'd need to "clean up" things). http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_Q4142489 This link goes over how to "seed" the drives, so that all of the content is quickly/immediately in the pool. But as I said, this will merge all of the contents together.
