During an overnight disk scan, one of my drives warned me about a few bad sectors. In Drivepool on the affected drive, I can see red markers showing duplicated and un-duplicated file placement limits set to zero. However, the drive still has a small amount of unduplicated data I'd like to move off until I can replace the drive. In the Scanner Balancer settings, I originally did not have the "Move un-duplicated files out of drives with SMART warnings" box checked.

If I check that box, will Drivepool automatically move unduplicated data off that drive? The balancer states "File evacuation starts immediately after a problem is detected.", but at what point does Scanner notify Drivepool of an issue? I checked the box, but I'm not seeing any movement of unduplicated data.

If I try to manually rebalance, Drivepool wants to move all of the data off the drive, both duplicated and un-duplicated. I'd like to avoid that for now as I'm running low on space.

Scanner notifies DrivePool as soon as it detects the problem. If you only check the box later, I'd guess it might trigger on the next time Scanner checks the drive and finds it is still bad and notifies DrivePool again and/or the next time DrivePool does a balancing check (whether scheduled or manual).
