Question

I have 14 disks that are spread across two DrivePool “drives”. I have previously changes them from drive letters to folders that I called Drive E, drive G, etc.  As I want to add some more physical disks, I think I want to rename the folders to be more like Media 01, Media 02, Data 01, Drive 02, etc. so that as I grow and add more disks, I am not constrained on letters. Will DrivePool be fine if I rename them?I have to figure out the best way to do that within Windows 11 but want to be sure DrivePool will just move along with no issues if I do.

Hi, changing the drive letter/path (e.g. via Windows Disk Management) of a disk in a pool doesn't affect DrivePool. Just don't change the hidden PoolPart.* folders on the disks.
