I found that if I checked scanner plugin in drivepool with "Move unduplicated files out of drives with smart warning",then if the drive is about to make a full disk scan, all the file will be moved out the disk,is that correct?

besieds is the a cli or api way that I can tell the sas disk S.M.A.R.T status to the drivepool since Scanner doesnt process SAS disk.I can use smartmontool to get the smart status of sas disk,if there is a cli command or api tell the drivepool software, then it will move the file to other disk.

DrivePool shouldn't be moving files out of a disk (whether or not Scanner is doing a full disk scan) unless Scanner is actually picking up a warning from that disk that triggers the plugin.

There's no cli or api option; you could make a feature request here.

Unfortunately, StableBit Scanner doesn't support SAS drives, so doesn't manage them.

That said, the StableBit Scanner plugin is reading the disk status from WMI,  so if you "jerry-rigged" up something that read from the SAS health information and created the proper structures in WMI, you could fake it.  (however, the information is very basic, but at least that's simpler to manipulate)
