bnbg
I'm moving my data to a new server. Is it possible to transfer my cloud drive over if I am using a trial license? Thanks
0 Christopher (Drashna)
Yes, absolutely. The only difference between the trial and retail license is that the trial ends. When the trial license expires, the upload speeds are severely throttled, but you can still download at full speed, so you can move the files off of the drive. http://stablebit.com/Support/CloudDrive/Licensing So, really all you need to do here, is detach the drive, and then attach it on the new system. No issues, no problem, no hassle. bnbg
0 bnbg
Thank you. But I cannot detach the drive, when I try to force detach I can an access denied error. Why is that? EDIT: Now it says "incorrect function".
0 Christopher (Drashna)
Alex has identified a number of issues with detaching or destroying drives that may directly affect this. If you could, please download this version and see if it helps: http://dl.covecube.com/CloudDriveWindows/beta/download/StableBit.CloudDrive_1.0.0.797_x64_BETA.exe If it doesn't, then please enable drive tracing, reproduce and upload the logs. http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_CloudDrive_Drive_Tracing
