Formatting drive with the cache..

Just want to clarify before I do anything. I need to reformat the drive that my cache currently resides on.. best practice? Are there any steps that need to be taken in advance to prep the clouddrive so that there's minimal risk of impact? Will it automatically download files to fill the cache when I remount it? Thanks!

Detach (unmount) any CloudDrive disks that are using this disk, then format  it. 

 

And that's it.  You can re-attach the disk after the format is complete. 

 

 

And yes, it will rebuild the cache after usage, depending on usage. 

 

 

 

Detaching the drive clears out any data that is still left "to upload", so you don't have any issues.
