Cloud drive hangs on connection to service

So last night my computer rebooted due to good old windows 10 updates, while I still had stuff being uploaded to my ACD.  Since then, Stablebit Cloud Drive just hangs on connecting to service.  I have rebooted multiple times, I know my service is up and running because I also run netdrive to map my ACD as a local drive (failed experiment with other encryption tools).  I am currently using the last beta that you recommended for ACD, 1.0.0.631.  Running windows 10 Pro 64 bit on a Xeon E5-2670 with 16 gigs of ram.  Internet is 100/50

Make sure the service is running.  Run "services.msc" and check. Or see if "CloudDrive.Service.exe" is running. 

 

If it is running and you're still having this issue, let me know.

Hrmm that's weird, it wasn't running at all.  I have done a repair install, and it appears to have fixed the problem.  My system recently updated to build 1607 of windows 10 Pro.  It was right after that build KB3193494 and KB3176936 were installed that it stopped working.

 

Thank you for your extremely quick response.  I will definitely be buying, no matter what Amazon's stance is, your product is freaking awesome.

And yeah, it sounds like it didn't retain the service info properly, or otherwise didn't start properly. 

Since the heart and core of the software is this service, if it's not running .... then it's not working. 

 

I think I saw this on my own system as well (but it's been a while, and a lot has happened since).
