Drive removal error

pekpetrolhead

Question

Gents,

I am trying to remove a drive that is starting to show smart errors.  I have added additional space in order to remove the drive but I get the following error:

 ERROR REMOVING DRIVE

There is not an open file with that identification number

Any ideas on whats causing this.  I dont really want to pull the drive manually but thats what i'm thinking i may have to do.

Do the "forced damaged disk removal" option.  This will skip problem files, and continue removing the drive (instead of erroring out and stopping).

Remaining (problem) files will remain on the disk, and you should see a (non-hidden) PoolPart.xxxx folder once the disk is removed. You can access the remaining files there.

Also, what OS are you using? And what version of StableBit DrivePool are you using?
