I would like a way to have a listing of drive contents dumped into a text file or csv so that if one of my drives fails, I will be able to see what was on the drive so I can know what I lost. I don't use backup or duplication because my data isn't critical, but I would like to know what I lost if I did have a drive fail. Some automated script that runs every night or something would be good. Actually I think this would be a good feature to have built into the software itself. It would write the index to a file after the drives are rebalanced and then next time it goes to write to the file it would just replace the old file so you have the most recent info and don't have log build up.
Just some way to automate a script that does this would be good. It would have to be able to see hidden files/folders.
