Folders in the pool are all read-only

Hi all ! I'm testing Drivepool before buying it, all is going well, i setup my pool, my duplication for important folders etc etc.

I have only one problem : all my folders in the pools are in read-only state,i cannot for example scrape my movies with mediaelch, it cannot save on the folders

 

What can be the issue ? If i try to remove read-only from right-click menu -> properties nothing happens, always in read-only state

One note : i can write new data without problems...it just seems that the read-only is setted after the move

What OS are you using?

What version of StableBit DrivePool are you using? 

 

 

Do you have any antivirus, backup or disk tools installed on the system?

Also, could you verify that the NTFS permissions on the folder/disk in question allow you to modify files? 

 

And is it marking the file itself as "read only"?  
If so.... is MediaElch running when this happens?  If so, check the settings for the program and make sure it's not saving the files as read only (i've seen some media managers that do). That or disable the program temporarily. 

 

And StableBit DrivePool doesn't modify the files like this.  If anything is set as "read only", it's the entire disk itself, to block writing to the drive at all, and this only happens when there is a missing disk. Otherwise, something else is modifying the files.

I'm using Bitdefender Total Security 2016 with ransomware protection disabled.

Mediaelch is started when i need it.All folders are marked read-only.

What can i do ?

I added mediaelch to the allowed applications in bitdefender and now it's working awesome

To clarify, is it working now, after making the change, or are you still seeing this issue?
