Kraevin
Would it be possible to add a feature to the cache, where you can set it to clear the cache on it's own, every so often? like maybe daily?
0 Christopher (Drashna)
Set the cache to 0 bytes. (or set it very low, like 300MBs) Aside from that, the cache tries to keep frequently used data cached locally, to increase the speed of the drive (eg, decrease access time). Things like the directory lists and NTFS data are cached locally, and absolutely help with performance (especially for enumerating directories. 0 Kraevin
Christopher you are the man! i didn't even think about lowering the cache to 0! that would work perfect! I will keep it at a lower setting not at 0 though due to what you said about decreasing access time, which is a plus!
0 Christopher (Drashna)
Welcome! If you have issues with it, you can detach the drive and re-attach it to set a different cache size. If you find a size that you feel is perfect, let me know. (for reference)
