Drive shows up in pool that has been removed because of damage filesystem

aws1971

Question

i had a drive that had a damaged filesystem.

also it was a small 250 GB drive.

so i cloned the drive and partions because it was also the OS drive and i didn't want to re-install.

everything seems to be running like it should but looking a partion that i've added to the pool it shows the drive i've removed.

This screenshot shows the drive that actually is removed

here a screenshot of the drive that i've cloned

but i can't add it to the pool because it says it's the same drive

I tried the troubleshoot tool

and tried the following options

restore drivepool shares and did a reboot.

but still no changes.

i was thinking perhaps i should remove the ghost drive,

then reboot and hope it fixes the problem.

and i would be able to add the bigger partion of the cloned drive

Is just the one disk in the system?

Or are both disks still connected?

Actually, because of the issue, could you head to http://stablebit.com/Contactand submit a ticket (just leave a link to the forum thread, as that is fine).

But unfortunately, because of how we track disks, cloning a disk may cause issues.
