How to diagnose "duplication inconsistent" message

I noticed today that DrivePool 2.1.1.561 shows "Duplication inconsistent" when I hover over the Pool Organization bar at the bottom.

 

Clicking the arrow at the end, I can choose "Re-check duplication" which runs through and ends seemingly without issue, but the message remains.

 

I have rebooted and the message is still there.

 

If I go into the "Folder duplication" menu, it starts calculating over and over in a loop without ending. I let it run for over an hour before I closed the menu and it stopped.

 

How can I diagnose the cause of the inconsistency? Does DrivePool log somewhere what is triggering this message?
