VDS Basic Provider/Cirtual Disk Service - Error

champs777

Question

OS: Windows 7 x64

stablebit version: 2.1.1.561

I have been having some huge issue, lately when I boot the machine up.  One of my services is hanging, and it is causing all of my other services to hang.  The boot time is is around 12-15 minutes.  That being said I have been going program by program trying to figure out what is causing the issue.  I thought it was antivirus for a while so i tried a few different options.  I really have just about tried everything.

I finally gave up and wiped/loaded a fresh copy of windows on the machine.  After every program I loaded, I monitored the event viewer closely to try and figure out what is causing the issue.  I have ran a scan disk on each of the drives.  256SSD OS, 4tb, 4tb, 2tb.  No errors were found.

I have no antivirus.  At this point I have DP and that is pretty much it.  Every time I reboot the machine, I get the following errors.

The moment i disable the DP services, these errors go away.  DP and antivirus are the only services that "could" cause these issues since they are the only programs that I have loaded.  Now that I don't have the antivirus, I am wondering if it might be DP.

Anyone have any ideas?  Could the service be causing me issues?

Here is a screen shot of the event view system log:

That title should read

VDS Basic Provider/Virtual Disk Service - Error

Not

VDS Basic Provider/Cirtual Disk Service - Error

Sorry.  I don't see how i can edit the title.

Could you do this;

http://wiki.covecube.com/StableBit_DrivePool_Q2159701

And could you set the "StableBit DrivePool Service"'s startup type to "Manual"?

To do so, run "services.msc", and find the service. Right click on it and select "Properties. Find the "Startup type" and select "manual" from the list.

After doing this, try rebooting the system and see if it behaves better.

If not,, then please revert the changes (set the startup type back to "Automatic", and then do this:

And then:
