thousands of empty folders?

Recently installed Glary Utilities. Ran the "find empty folders" utility and it found thousands of them. It appears that when I turned off duplication for a number of folders and SP cleaned up it left empty folders behind? I'm just guessing. Anyway, does it hurt anything if I delete all those empty folders out of the various diskpart hidden folders?

Yeah, we leave folder behind when balancing data off oa dirve or removing duplication. Since there are hidden metadata, we leave them be. 

 

But there should be no harm with deleting these empty folders.
