RobbieH
Is there something I need to change or disable for my boot data store drive? StableBit Scanner File System Damaged on "SERVER" running at "Home Server". One or more volumes have file systems that are damaged: VMware Virtual disk SCSI Disk Device - damaged volumesC:\Running repair finds no errors. 0 RobbieH
Another question, my Windows 7 VM can see smart drive information, but my WHS 2011 VM cannot. In both VMs, I used the same exact method of mapping the RDMs to the drives that belong to that VM. Any thoughts? EDIT: Win7 had the latest beta, WHS did not. I put the latest beta on WHS, and now all specs are being reported.
0 Christopher (Drashna)
Well, as for the damaged sector... try rescanning it. If the issue persists, then it's definitely a disk error. And if that's the case, it may be an issue with the media that the system VHD is sitting on.
0 RobbieH
Ugh, I have had it happen twice. It's a PNY SSD. Luckily, I have a backup of the VM.
0 Christopher (Drashna)
If this is a VM, and the VHD is sitting on that PNY SSD, it may be time to consider replacing it... or thoroughly testing it on the host.
