Question

Hi. I updated drivepool to latest version 2.3.2.1493 and I am having issues with Google Drive. Each time I restart Windows, Google Drive can't find the synced folders and asks to relocate them. Even if I do that, drive keeps disconnecting and reconnecting continuously. I completely removed any files I had on google drive, signed off and completely uninstalling/reinstalling/resyncing had no effect, google drive keeps doing that with every Windows restart. Note that the problem occurs only with folders I sync with Google Drive and not Google Photos. Any ideas please?

Edit: Acronis True Image backup also exhibits issues with backup to my pooled drive, it only worked after the 3rd time I manually started it

No. I have informed the team here and they contacted Google for the matter but there is no response from Google. I just stopped and will stop using Google drive and move on to another service.

I wonder if I should switch to another "combine-local-disks-solution" instead. I do love the feature of easy duplikation of specific folders.

Rclone seems to work fine though, but I don't know if they have as seamless sync function as native Google Drive sync.

FWIW, this issue appears to be an issue with the file system API that Google Drive is using.  Eg, they're using the wrong one.  We've tried reaching out to get this resolved, but have gotten absolutely no response. (not even an acknowledgement of message received.

Did this ever get resolved?  All my drives use DrivePool (minus the OS drive) and I sync a ton of folders with GDrive.  I continually have to relocate all my folders after I reboot and nothing's syncing as it should.  Is there any way to fix this?  Thanks!

If you're running into issues with this, then no, it hasn't been fixed.

Specifically, this isn't something that is fixable on our end (without possibly breaking things), and is something that Google/Alphabet would need to fix in their software.
