AndreasK
Hi Guys, would be cool to be able to login to BitFlock via the StableBit scanner software so that the info that is sent is added to my bitflock nest too.
Christopher (Drashna)
Well, the StableBit Scanner software can submit info to BitFlock. But yes, we are hoping to integrate all this together into a much more cohesive package, in the future.
AndreasK
Great. Yes, the fact that I can see the scanner software submitting to bitflock already is what made me think that i'd like to be able to 'tag' the drive info being submitted as being part of my 'flock'. Christopher (Drashna)
It does submit to bitFlock and creates an ID, and we (support) can access that. The nest system was developed independently of the Scanner integration, so there isn't a way to merge or access that information. However, eventually, we want to merge that functionality into StableBit Scanner, so that we can handle it better, and more uniformly. miles267
I noticed my firewall logs are showing that bitflock.com connection isn't secure. Is their site offline?
Alex
I noticed my firewall logs are showing that bitflock.com connection isn't secure. Is their site offline? There was a certificate issue on bitflock.com (cert expired, whoops). Fixing it now, should be back in a few minutes. Sorry about that. Additionally, there were some load / scalability issues and that's now resolved as well. BitFlock is running on Microsoft Azure, so everything scales quite nicely.
