Cannot move drive between servers

Hermann

Question

Moving a 100TB Google Drive between machines.

1. Detatched the drive properly from the original machine.
2. Attatched the drive to the new machine and mounted.
3. "Local Disk D:" appears on the new machine but cannot be accessed. Error can be seen on the attatched screenshot.

I've tried detatching and re-attatching with same results.

What to do?

By chance, was the drive in question formatted as ReFS?

If so, then that may be the problem.  Beginning of the year, Microsoft released a patch that causes ReFS volumes on removable storage to not mount.  And unfortunately, StableBit CloudDrive mounts the drives as removable drives.  If you can get an older install, without this patch, you should be able to access the data, at least.
