  1. CloudDrive is pretty awful at torrenting when there is background IO. The speed often fluctuates between 0 and my regular download speed every few seconds. This doesn't happen when I download directly onto a hard drive. I'm thinking this would be solved if I could download onto my cache drive first directly and not upload until later when the entire file is downloaded. I could achieve this with scripts but I was wondering if there was some method baked into CloudDrive. I was thinking a larger upload threshold value or nightly upload would work but I'm not too sure. Thanks in advance!
  2. I have a pool of local hard drives and a cloud drive. The cloud drive is a mirror of the pool using a nightly synchronization script but I want to start using DrivePool because of its real time sync. If I were to add the cloud drive to the pool and enable duplication, will DrivePool recognize the files on my Clouddrive as duplicates? If it does or doesn't, what other settings should I change to ensure the Clouddrive mirrors the other local drives. Lastly, if everything is duplicated and I turn off duplication, will DrivePool remove the files and only keep one copy in total? For example, all the files on my Clouddrive are deleted and the local drive keeps the files or vice versa. If that's the case, how would I safely turn off duplication and keep both copies. Thanks in advance.
  3. Stablebit Scanner displays "A file system on this disk is not healthy and needs to be repaired. " When I try to repair the volume, I get "Task failed. Shutting down" after sometime. I tried running chkdsk manually first with no parameters and it doesn't report any errors . I was still having errors and CloudDrive threw a few mismatch errors at me so I ran chkdsk /f but now it ran with errors. There were a few similar threads posted before but they were either unanswered or simply wanted to remove the notification instead. I'm not sure how feasible chkdsk /r is considering the drive is allocated as 256 TB with about 20TB written on it. I do have gigabit internet which should help read faster but I don't know. Can someone point me to the right direction to figure this out. Thanks! EDIT: Trying to scan in Windows explorer also fails. This is what the event log says. Chkdsk was executed in scan mode on a volume snapshot. Checking file system on F: The shadow copy provider had an error. Check the System and Application event logs for more information. A snapshot error occured while scanning this drive. You can try again, but if this problem persists, run an offline scan and fix.
