  1. Hi, and thanks for replying. I read about it, but in case I wonder why it poped up after many month out of nowhere. I even reseted my pool and the 50GB were shown on another drive then. So what else can i try to delete the 50GB "Others"? In diskmanagement the size of the pool is 2TB instead of 50,9TB. Does this matter in my case? BTW: Where are the wss troubleshoot tools in V2? I cant find them. Kind regards Nick
  2. Hi, no torrent files or such. I cleaned it with diskpart an then removed the drive. BTW: Where are the wss troubleshoot tools in V2? I cant find them.
  3. Hi, I have on my disk 50 GB of "Others" files. I read about it and I know what "others" can be, but in my case its not. The strange thing I have it on drive letter H: And when I recapture the pool exact the 50 GB are now on an other drive letter. What I did: I removed the disk. I cleaned the disk and copied the data new to it. I deleted the whole pool and copied everything to the new pool again. Nothing helps... I looked onto the hidden folder and there is no data wtih 50 GB. What can that be? Kind regards Nick
  4. Sorry for the Long delay. OS is svr 2012R2 essentials. I tested it now Long enough to say that on one drive the ntfs file System was broken. Although the Software told me to repair it didn´t helped. I took the HDD to another machine and here it found the broken files and repaired it. But didn´t help…. So I copied all the data from the HDD to another one. formated it and this helped. Don´t know why! Thanks for help. Much appreciated. Thanks!
  5. Hey, I changed my System from Asrock Z97 with 4790K to Asrock Z170 OC Formula with 6700K. Then when I copying files into the pool the Ram run 50% full 8.8GB (16GB) and the file Performance goes to Zero. So then I reinstalled it back to Z97 and the same Thing happened. When this happen the pool becomes unaccessible. Do someone know what causes this? Could someone please help. sincerely
  6. So I formated all the HDD´s on my PC and reset all Attributes. Then a fresh install with the beta. I would say all permissions are now ok, but same Long loading from the Client side when cklicking safety to see permissions. Do you have any Idea if it as Problem accessing the Server from PC?
  7. Hey, Yes it is a screenshot from Client side (win10). No, the PC is not in a Domain..But the PC never was and it was running fine with DriveBender. I don´t know where the Problem is. So...don´t know. So if you Need still the config please let me know. Thanks Christopher, thanks.
  8. Hello Christopher, I installed the beta stable biton my svr 2012R2 essentials and thought it would be getting better on the Client side (win 10) but is the same. The permissions take 30sec to load. I can´t tell if it is because of stable bit, but I do think so. I hope you can assist here, because I saw you also have Server 2012R2 essentials. Maybe you can recreate the Problem?
  9. For now I am on 30 days Trials. This must be ok,right? Should be like a full-version?!
  10. Hey Christopher, glad that you will help me, thank you. I Need to recover my Server as fast as possible so I did a new install and DP the recent public release. (what is wrong with this Version?) I did work with diskpart and deleted all the Attributes, but only to make the empty disk accesible. The empty disk in the new pool and the others disks from the old pool connected via USB 3.0 and copy. Is this ok that way???
  11. Hey, At first I had Problems to acces my Drivepool via Windows share. ( Win 10 PC -> Svr2012R2 Essentials) Sometimes I can´t open a Folder nor delete it. I says I have no permission to do this. But I am locked in with Admin rights. So I took out the HDD from the Server and connected it to my PC via USB 3.0. And again no acces to my files. What can I do here? I am lost. Should I copy out all my files and Setup a fresh install Server OS? EDIT: So I removed one drive from the pool and on the PC it says " WriteProtected" But why?? The empty disk is write protected.
