  2. Hi, I have created a 60TB drivepool All my files are movies so large in size 20-100GB each. I plan to use Plex in the future I notice when I add new movies to the drivepool it's not auto moving them to a particular hard drive and will only move them when it does it's balancing thing. - Can movies not be auto taken care of without the needs of balancing constantly? All default plugins and balancing options are on default, can you think of any settings and plugins to best suit my needs? Thank you so so much! Jamie
  3. I have around 80 4k UHD movies legally backed up as well as 400 Blu-ray movies. I'm guessing to add all these files onto drivepool would take many weeks to create?, Due to file size Thanks
  4. I'm wanting to create a pool for all my movies which are mostly 4K UHD HDR etc. I don't see a problem when playing directly via HDMI output from my HTPC. Is there enough read rate and hopefully slowdown for streaming large files via Plex? Thanks so much :)

    Confused

OK, so I plan to build a cheap pc to use with drivepool and 4x hard drives. I want to be able to read movies from the created drivepool drive on my projector in the loft and TV downstairs. Both these displays have a Nvidia shield. Common connections seem to be HDMI out or streaming,.. HDMI is hassle as cable is to thick to hide to the loft... Streaming can be hassle with 4k blurays. Is there no way to have a USB output of the drivepool drive somehow? Or some other thinner than hdmi cable? That would allow a wired connection to the drivepool drive Hope you understand
