So I can't change it from dynamic to basic without losing all my data so that is out of question for me. Is there another way to get it to work?

I have attached and detached it with trying to change the Drive cache. The HDD is an internal Sata drive.

Hey my SSD just died after I used it as cache for weeks. Now I got everything set up again and wanted to use my HDD as cache but it just let's me chose my SSD? How can I put the cache on my HDD?
