  1. Nobody else is experiencing this?
  2. He/they should remove access then as it's crawled by search engines and very easily searchable. As a developer myself, I know first hand if you put it out there, people *will* install it. I removed the registry key (nothing else applied to my situation) but it had no effect. I have been in touch via the normal support channels (since I own several copies and can only get it to install on 1 machine) and they have forwarded the issue on to Alex.
  3. No, just plain ole regular drives in a standard setup. I've tried every version from .324 back to .310. protip: you can get every version, even the unofficial releases here: http://dl.covecube.com/DrivePoolWindows/beta/download/

    Beta 320 BSOD

I was getting a RASH of these same errors for several days. Every few hours I'd get basically the same error. After some futile efforts debugging it, I discovered one of my drives was going bad (bad sectors) before Scanner had caught it. After pulling the drive (it ended up being 2), I haven't had a BSOD again. Kinda surprised a failing drive could cause a BSOD, but that was def. the culprit.

    My Non Rack Server

I might as well jump in here too. Hardware Case : CoolerMaster Elite 120 Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe CPU: Core i3-2105 3.1GHz Ram: CORSAIR 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Optical: Blu-Ray drive. Cards: RocketRaid 644L 6Gb/s 4x eSata External Enclosure: 2x Sans Digital 8-Bay eSATA RAID 0/1/10/5/JBOD Tower Storage Enclosure OS: Windows Server 2012 Essentials UPS: CyberPower 1500AVR provides about 40 minutes of up time on battery power for both the server and the 2 arrays Total storage using 9 of the 16 total bays is ~24Tb. This machine functions as the heart of my entire house network. It servers every TV in the house's mediaPC with DVD/BluRay content (over 700 ISOs, etc) as well as all our various other network storage needs. Really it's main function is MyMovies and and auto-ripping and storing DVDs & BluRays. I can walk up, throw a disc in the drive, and come back later and remove it from the ejected tray. The entire rip, cataloging, adding to database, etc., is 100% hands off. I can optionally have it auto convert the ISO to an mp4 (or other) automagically (thus the i3 cpu). I simply love it. The entire house is wired with shielded Cat6 and it sits next to the switch in a closet of my office on a shelf, no monitor or keyboard attached, completely managed remotely and it works like a charm.
  6. Just curious if folder duplication is supposed to be VERY slow? Earlier this week I finished my new server build and finished moving all my data onto the pool. I have a 24tb pool on the server with about 16Tb used and of that only about 6-8Tbs being duplicated at the folder level. It has been duplicating for somewhere between 36 and 48 hours and is only 15.6% complete. That seems.... crazy. It also seems to be slowing down and it's now doing about 0.1% every 2 hours or so. So by that math, it's going to take 35 days to reach 100%.. ROFL. Additionally, while it's balancing, I can see the lights on for individual drives activities in my raid enclosure, but the DrivePool UI reports ZERO read or write activity going on. Lastly, it can take SEVERAL DAYS for the Statistics Incomplete icon to go away and all disks to be fully measured and no grey sections...
  7. It seems the current version fails to install on my Win8 Desktop machine... I've tried every version back to 2.0.0.310_x64_beta, but alas, no dice. Am I just out of luck if I want to run DrivePool on a Win8 box? Here's the log..
