    bnbg got a reaction from jaynew in File Explorer hanging
    I've had this issue for as long as I've been using CloudDrive.
    When I navigate the drive, most of the time Explorer will hang (not responding) when I click into a folder.
    When it doesn't hang, sometimes it will take ~2 minutes to load the folder.
    The folders don't have many files in them. I have the pinning options enabled.
    I thought it might be a bug because the drive was created with an early version of CD, so I created a new drive to see if the issue was gone but it's still happening.
    Is there anything I can do? Really annoying having to restart explorer almost every time I want to browse the drive.

    Thanks.

    You need to extend the disk in Windows Disk Management

    Yes, absolutely.

    The only difference between the trial and retail license is that the trial ends.

    When the trial license expires, the upload speeds are severely throttled, but you can still download at full speed, so you can move the files off of the drive.

    So, really all you need to do here, is detach the drive, and then attach it on the new system. No issues, no problem, no hassle.

    I ran chkdsk on the drive, it returned this afterwards;

    I restarted and it's been uploading fine since then with no errors. Thank you very much, you're brilliant!

    Yes, I still recommend upgrading to this version.

    And no, you won't lose your data. We explicitly maintain backwards compatibility every time we implement something new or change how it works.

    The only time that isn't true is with Amazon Cloud Drive, because it's become a serious nightmare and we need to sit down, hammer out a new provider for it, and ... spam Amazon until they actually respond to our inquiries in a meaningful manner.
